Presentation Description:

Mr. Ziolkowski will be presenting an overview of the geotechnical investigation for a large

semiconductor manufacturing facility in Sherman, Texas. The client will remain unnamed. The site was investigated in 3 phases which included a preliminary geotechnical investigation, final geotechnical investigation and a geophysical study. Mr. Ziolkowski will discuss the unique qualities of the site including site history, site topography, and site geology. The results of the investigations will be discussed including foundation design, soil potential vertical rise, floor slab design and subgrade preparation recommendations to mitigate soil PVR. We will take a look at the construction of the project from start to current status. Finally, at the end, we will discuss where the project is heading in the future.
