Description: This new edition of “Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete” (Code) is the first since the reorganized format was published in 2014 and includes new and updated code provisions along with updated color illustrations for added clarity. The Code provides minimum requirements for the materials, design, and detailing of structural concrete buildings and, where applicable, non-building structures. This presentation covers a few of the significant changes to this code including high-strength reinforcement, shear strength, development length, and shear lugs.
