The program focuses on the basics of concrete repair.  Bill will share some of his experiences on projects showing what to do and what not to do when approaching a concrete restoration project.  Examples are drawn from both new construction defects as well as traditional concrete refurbishment of existing structures.

William (Bill) Light has been involved in the concrete construction industry nationally for over 40 years.  Bill’s career has been centered in the manufacturing and distribution fields.  His experience includes primary concrete related materials, chemical admixtures, reactive resins, waterproofing materials and FRP composites for concrete production and preservation of concrete structures.  Previous experience includes sales, technical service and work on various Research and Development teams.  For the last 30 years he has been with the Sika Corporation specializing in project development involving new construction as well as repair and protection of building facades, parking garages, stadiums, bridges and other civil structures.
